Currently, the survivor is susceptible to infection and takes armor damage, which can significantly disadvantage players who have invested in this item.
To ensure fairness and balance in gameplay, I propose a modification to the survivor's mechanics under these circumstances. Here are the suggested changes:
1. Invincibility to Zombies: Make the survivor invulnerable to zombie attacks during normal rounds, especially when a boss has been purchased. This prevents the survivor from being infected and maintains its effectiveness as a strategic purchase.
2. Health Damage Instead of Armor Damage: Alternatively, if invincibility is not feasible, consider having the survivor take health damage from zombie attacks rather than armor damage. This adjustment would make the survivor more resilient against zombie assaults and preserve its utility for players who choose to invest in it.
By implementing these changes, we can enhance the gameplay experience for all participants, ensuring that the survivor item remains a viable and fair option in normal rounds, particularly when a boss is in play.
