Hi all! I logged in this morning to play, and I keep getting kicked every 1-3 minutes with this error. I couldn't find a category to post in, so I'm posting here.
This error is probably only seen by Steam players.
Yo i dont think thats caused by the server because even vac is disabled on server, could be something about your network connection
I just saw that you have the Steam version of Counter-Strike, so the solution to your problem is pretty simple. Either download the forum CS and connect it with your Steam (it connects automatically), and your problem should be fixed or Alternatively, open Steam, right-click on Counter-Strike 1.6, go to Properties, then go to the “game version & Betas” tab. After that, select the game version as “steam_legacy.” Your problem should be fixed.
download forum CS and your steam will be connected with it automatically. it is safe as i use it too. then report if it happens again

I want to clarify that this error only occurs on this server; it doesn't happen on the others.

i don't know if i'm the only one who not faces with that problem, i can't reproduce it with my 2 different steam account and location i never get that error
im using steam_legacy version
also theres no any plugin that connected to steam

download this version of cs, this is safeand make sure your steam is opened. it will auto connect with this cs and then you wont get any issue

Once Sinical confirms that this has been happening since yesterday, it is worth considering that the server is to blame for this cause. Not CS, not Steam, and not the player.
This is a critical issue for players with Steam ON, they will be kicked out for that reason.
There are four ways to fix this issue, and they work for most players including me:
1st: If you are joining the server without changing the version, make sure to reconnect as soon as you join. This might fix the issue.
2nd: If it doesn’t work, change your CS version to steam_legacy. Then, when you join the server, make sure to reconnect again.
3rd: if it doesn't work as well then try reinstalling your Steam CS and repeat steps 1 and 2.
4th: If none of these methods work, you can download CS 1.6 [Eng] or Download CS 1.6 - Free Counter-Strike 1.6 Builds . These are clean and safe versions and can also connect with your Steam.
These steps have fixed the issue for most players, including me and many staff members. If you’re still experiencing the problem, you may need to switch to a non-Steam version. Otherwise, the issue is likely not related to the server

it fixed for many player if it doesnt help then you have to play with non steam version sadly also if it was server problem then tell me why it is only affecting you but not us?

After you reinstall files again , download the new link and add new files in cstrike folder
