I think that ur profil picture is pretty good, it matches the background, the character is centered and thus the highlight, doesn't has too much background stuff. It's simple and effective but ike I said I personally dislike cute pictures.

Personally I believe that the background is much more cooler than the Profil picture.
Idk what it is, it might be the colors, or the character or the position of the character or the direction where he is looking or the positioning of the camera but something is there that I don't like. Dunno about this one it could be all together.
