I think this katana will make the server even laggier. Such models require more performance from the PC, while the server is already having lag all the time adding these models is really a bad decision.

Maybe but you have to know that already most players don't have gaming PCs like you and as Blood_Bandit said the server already has many shiny models which cause a lot of lag so I don't think there is a need to change the katana model.

You can change it in your own counter strike if you like it that much.
